Matt Carthy is a Sinn Féin TD for the Cavan-Monaghan constituency.
Sinn Féin's Spokesperson on Agriculture; Matt sits on the Agricultural Committee and the Public Accounts Committee.
He is a native of Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan where he lives with his wife Lynn and their five children.
